On a monthly basis the National Hotline received the most calls in July

The National Hotline for women and kids victims of domestic violence received 318 calls in a sum, between 1st and 31st of July, which is at the same time the highest rate of calls the National Hotline ever received.

During the last month the most services were delivered in area of informing 200, then confidential conversations 111, 55 services in area of psychological counseling, 18 mediations between institutions, 10 urgent help interventions, 4 shelter requests etc.

The calls in July came from 14 municipalities of Montenegro. The vast majority of call came from Podgorica, 84, 64 from Niksic, 39 from Herceg Novi, 35 from Bar, 19 from Budva, 17 calls came from Kotor, Bijelo Polje and Berane, 12 from Rozaje, 4 calls from Pljevlja and Ulcinj, 3 calls from Cetinje, 2 from Plav and 1 call from Andrijevica.

The National Hotline has been dialed mainly by the victims, but also by  their cousins, police officers and social workers.
