SOS Nikšić meeting the Minister of work and social welfare

Today at 10AM, Mr. Boris Maric, the Minister of work and social welfare met with the representatives of SOS Niksic. Mutual activities on the promotion of the project ‘Construction of the playground in the shelter for women and children victims of violence’, financed by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Montenegro, were agreed at the meeting.

Also, the Minister was interested in the work of the National SOS hotline for domestic violence victims, with the special emphasis on the activities of the Centers for social welfare and their cooperation with the service of National SOS hotline.

The National SOS hotline, coordinated by our organization form September last year, was established by the Ministry of work and social welfare and UNDP Office in Montenegro. SOS Niksic presented the Minister the statistics and results of work of the National SOS hotline, and also the challenges in work.
