Why women decides to stay in violent community?

Among the common reasons why women suffer from domestic violence are the following ones:

• fear – women very often fear that the rapist might get aggressive toward her children
• children – women are afraid that the rapist might take her kids away from her
• lack of information about her rights – many women are told that they possess no rights regarding the kids, the property, etc.
• financial dependence – many women believe it will be difficult or impossible for them to take care about their kids
• insulation – confronting women with their current situation can cause exhaustion
• pressure from society – women can feel constant pressure from their parents of society that they are responsible for success  or failure of their marriage
• lack of self-esteem – many women believe it is their fault for being abused and matlreated
• accommodatio – some women are forced to stay with the abusive partner because they have no other place to go and look for solution
